A costume-friendly Halloween afternoon in the woods at Mead's Quarry. Kids trick-or-treat along the forest trail, make seasonal crafts, play games, meet Ijams animal ambassadors, and come face to face with life-sized critter puppets from the Cattywampus Puppet Council. Saturday, October 24, 2026, 3:00-8:00 PM at Mead's Quarry, 3526 Island Home Ave, Knoxville, TN 37920. Tickets are timed: entry slots run every half hour from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, and you should arrive at the time printed on your ticket. $10 per person, or $30 for a group of up to four and $40 for up to six; children under 2 are free. Wear costumes and closed-toe shoes - this is a trail, not a sidewalk. Parking $5 per car, free for members. More info: https://www.ijams.org/event-details/ijams-enchanted-forest
