Nocturnal critters take center stage at this after-dark Halloween-season program at Ijams. Meet live nocturnal animal ambassadors up close, then head out on a guided night hike to learn what wildlife gets up to after sunset. Friday, October 23, 2026, 7:00-9:00 PM at Ijams Nature Center, 2915 Island Home Ave, Knoxville, TN 37920. Admission $15 per person plus a small ticket fee. Designed for ages 6 and up. Parents, note: the hike runs up to a mile over uneven ground with rocks, roots and gravel and is not stroller-friendly, so wear closed-toe shoes. Every participant must complete the Ijams waiver at ijams.org/waiver once per calendar year. Parking is $5 per car, free for members.
